Mike Alexander leads the global archiving/compliance sales team at Proofpoint. Mike’s experience in the enterprise information archiving and digital communications governance space spans nearly two decades, having worked in both sales and leadership capacities at Smarsh, Autonomy HP, OpsRamp, and now Proofpoint.
With over 30 years of experience in digital investigations, security and data management, Bob currently serves in a staff SE capacity, providing Proofpoint customers with expert assessments of Data Governance practices. His previous roles as both a Federal and private investigator have given him a unique perspective on data collections and retention. Bob also previously served as an IT Security Director for nearly a decade where he learned firsthand the daily complexities companies face around data explosion, loss prevention, compliance, and budget constraints. Bob holds numerous Security, IT and Data Governance certifications and is a member of the Liberty Bell chapter of ARMA International located in Philadelphia, PA.
