Karen leads the Product UX and Content teams for Proofpoint’s Security Awareness Division. Prior to Proofpoint, Karen was Head of Global Strategy and Innovation for McAfee’s Consumer Division leading the innovation product management, design and strategy teams. She was instrumental in launching a new 3-year strategy focused on moving the organization beyond antivirus to privacy and personal protection. Karen also drove the innovation teams to producing and delivering new performance enhancements in McAfee’ consumer products. Karen was also influential in managing McAfee Consumer’s M&A efforts resulting in the successful purchase of a 40M technology company to help accelerate the roadmap toward personal protection. Karen has also founded and led a number of start-ups in both Cybersecurity and Marketing and was VP of Operations for Thomson Learning the learning arm of Thomson Publishing (now CENGAGE). An active learner, Karen holds a number of degrees and designations. When not working or studying, she spends her time with her husband Claude, 2 children Gabrielle and Dominic and a very large furry 4-legged golden doodle.

Kimberly Pavelich spearheads the delivery of compelling, threat-driven security awareness and training content as the Proofpoint Security Awareness and Training (PSAT) Senior Product Manager. In crafting her approach to security awareness training, she draws on a wealth of expertise cultivated over a decade of working within both Canada's intelligence sector and various international post-conflict communities. Kimberly holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the University of Calgary and is currently a Political Science PhD Candidate at Carleton University.
Jodi Moore is Sales Director managing a team of Senior Regional Sales Managers spanning the Central and Eastern regions of CrowdStrike’s business in Canada. She has had an extensive career in technology sales in Network, Security and Cybersecurity and has a proven track record for leading change, optimizing sales organizations and exceeding revenue and margin goals. She is mentor and coach to women in technology and is passionate about bringing more diversity into technology sales, and elevating the customer experience. Outside of work she is a dedicated wife and mother of four, and a water sports and travel enthusiast.
Dawn is a Senior Account Executive at Okta, where she specializes in helping companies design secure, seamless login experiences for both employees and customers. With over twenty years of experience in the technology sector, Dawn has led diverse sales teams and provided advisory services across various domains including digital health, cloud transformation, and identity security. As a member of the Women@Okta partnership team, Dawn actively fosters connections with industry partners to build equitable workforces and ensure the next generation of digital identity is built on a foundation of inclusion. Dawn holds a Bachelors Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Carleton University and is passionate about biologically inspired machine learning and its applications within the cybersecurity realm. Based in rural South Dundas, Ontario, Dawn and her husband are the proud parents of two adult daughters and have one wonderfully headstrong two-year-old granddaughter.

Janet Roberts is a global leader in cybersecurity education with over a decade of experience. She recently retired from Zurich Insurance where, as the Global Head of Security Education & Awareness, she built, managed, and continually expanded a multinational program for over eight years. She holds a B.A./Journalism from Temple University, and M.A./Communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She’s a fiction writer and a member of Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA) and Pennwriters. Her first two novels won 1st Place in Fiction from Pittsburgh's The Author Zone. Her poetry has been published in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and San Fedele Press’ “Art in a Time of Covid 19”. In 2024, she will launch both J M Roberts Consulting, LLC, providing select security awareness consulting, and a third novel (with a bit of cyber in the plot!) to be published by TEN 16 Press and available for purchase in May 2024. Betsy Wille directs The Cybersecurity Studio, a platform to help cybersecurity leaders meet the growing demands of the role in today’s volatile environment. In her role, she regularly convenes CISOs and their leadership teams with peers across industries to focus on the pressing cybersecurity challenges of today. Prior to launching The Cybersecurity Studio in 2022, Betsy was the Chief Information Security Officer of Abbott. As the second ever CISO for the organization, she led a transformation of the enterprise cybersecurity program in scope and scale. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, her teams ensured the protection of Abbott’s businesses, which were on the front lines of the COVID response. Betsy’s career in cybersecurity ranges over two decades, including 19 years in Financial Services at JPMorgan Chase and TIAA. She has held positions from the individual contributor to Director level in Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Governance Risk & Compliance, and the Business Office. Throughout her career, Betsy has been committed to developing and fostering talent, and creating a more diverse cybersecurity industry. At JPMorgan Chase she created and managed a cybersecurity development program in Syracuse, NY which launched many successful cybersecurity careers. And now her work at The Cybersecurity Studio is focused on readying the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.
