Shannon Smith is an accomplished attorney with over twenty years’ experience at the crossroads of technology and the law. In her current role as the leader of the Healthcare West team at Proofpoint, Shannon is focused on helping healthcare organizations protect their employees and defend their data against a constantly evolving threat landscape. She consults with healthcare clients on leveraging cybersecurity technology to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Prior to joining Proofpoint Shannon worked with organizations to develop policies and processes to support information governance programs, including complex data management strategies and workflows to streamline investigative and litigation efforts.
Emily O'Carroll is a Field CISO with Guidepoint Security. Prior to Guidepoint, she was the CISO at Topgolf Callaway Brands for over 9 years. She started her career in management consulting at KPMG with major companies across all verticals including Fortune 50 companies.
Dina Mathers has over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Carvana, a company that has revolutionized the way customers buy and sell used cars. Prior to joining Carvana, Dina led the cybersecurity program at NortonLifeLock. She began her career at American Express, where she held various roles, ultimately managing their global 24x7 Security Operations Center. Dina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University and an Advanced Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate from Stanford University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two toddlers.
Vauda Stanfield, CISM, CISSP is an information security leader with 25 years of experience in enabling organizations to operate securely. She is currently the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance for Freeport-McMoRan, a Fortune 200 Mining Company, since 2019. Prior roles include P.F. Chang's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) post-credit card compromise to implement cyber/fraud/physical security programs, the City of Phoenix Security Engineering and Operations Manager, and American Express. Vauda has a Master's in Information Management from Arizona State University and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of North Texas. She is a 5th degree black belt in Ninjutsu, mom, Boxer and Bengal lover, cellist, singer/songwriter, and leader in her spiritual community.
