Women Who Cyber brings together a diverse group of aspiring and thriving cybersecurity professionals for dynamic and interactive events where they can network with peers, establish meaningful mentoring relationships, share knowledge, and enjoy unique experiences.

You’ll learn from, and be inspired by, our panel of influential women as they discuss how they broke through the glass ceiling and continue to pave the way for women to lead and excel in the industry. They’ll also discuss the unique challenges women face, as well as the importance of diversity and gender equality in the workplace.

I Support the Girls - Bring Your Extra Bras and Period Products!


Homeless women need bras and menstrual hygiene products. Help ‘support the girls’, by donating I Support the Girls Donation Boxnew or used bras/sports bras and sealed packages of maxi pads and tampons.

I Support the Girls (ISTG) collects and distributes essential items, including bras and menstrual hygiene products, allowing people experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity. People rarely donate bras and menstrual hygiene products. Can you look in your drawers for any used bras that you no longer wear? Any sealed packages of tampons and maxi pads would be amazing as well.

A donation box will be available on-site for your contributions.

Katherine Mowen-Matz
Katherine Mowen-Matz | VP of Security, Guaranteed Rate

Katherine Mowen-Matz is the VP of Information Security at Guaranteed Rate. She began her career in the Big 4 as a financial statement auditor and fraud investigator. In 2008, she moved to Internal Audit department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where she got bitten by the IT Audit bug. In 2017, she moved to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago in the Information Security department. In 2020, she joined the Information Security team at Guaranteed Rate. In her spare time, Katherine is pursuing a Master of Information Systems, chases around two rapidly growing daughters, and has a mild addiction to the Peloton.

Mandy Huth
Mandy Huth | VP, Cybersecurity, Kohler

Mandy runs Kohler’s global security strategy and is the executive champion of their global data privacy program. She was previously Director of Information Security at Smarsh, a provider of archiving and compliance solutions, where she ran security strategy and execution, including product security and securing corporate DevOps. Mandy joined Smarsh after building a security organization responsible for IT and OT from the ground up for Belden. She served as Head of Security and Technology at Tripwire (acquired by Belden), responsible for securing Tripwire’s internal technologies and solutions. Mandy has over 15 years’ experience, developed in Hewlett Packard’s managed services division, leading the infrastructure and logical security of its data centers. Mandy holds multiple certifications including CISSP and GSLC and is an active member with ISSA, ISACA, and Infragard. She has delivered advisory services in information security, IT governance, IT process analysis, and information risk management.

Nidhi Luthra
Nidhi Luthra | VP, Chief Information Security Officer, Baxter

Nidhi Luthra is the VP Cybersecurity and Compliance, and CISO at Baxter International, where she is responsible for the vision, strategy and operations to protect the company’s enterprise Network, information assets and medical device technologies. In addition to Enterprise and Product security, she also oversees the IT Quality function. Luthra was previously with Abbott Labs as Global Cyber Risk officer, and prior to that with AMITA Health as CISO. Over her career she has held numerous positions in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure domains. Luthra, currently a resident of Chicago Il, holds a MS in Labor Relations from Cleveland State University, Ohio, and an MS in Communication Technology & Policy from Ohio University.

Amy Voegeli
Amy Voegeli | Senior Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Morningstar

Amy Voegeli is a Senior Manager at Morningstar where she leads the Governance, Risk and Compliance Team. At Morningstar she was the second member of the GRC team has overseen the implementation of all the services that team offers today. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of Information Security. She began her career in the legal field where she has over 8 years of experience working as both a paralegal and attorney. She received her BA from Indiana University and her JD from Chicago Kent College of Law.

Betsy Willie
Betsy Willie | Director, The Cybersecurity Studio

Betsy Wille directs The Cybersecurity Studio, a platform to help cybersecurity leaders meet the growing demands of the role in today’s volatile environment. In her role, she regularly convenes CISOs and their leadership teams with peers across industries to focus on the pressing cybersecurity challenges of today. Prior to launching The Cybersecurity Studio in 2022, Betsy was the Chief Information Security Officer of Abbott. As the second ever CISO for the organization, she led a transformation of the enterprise cybersecurity program in scope and scale. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, her teams ensured the protection of Abbott’s businesses, which were on the front lines of the COVID response. Betsy’s career in cybersecurity ranges over two decades, including 19 years in Financial Services at JPMorgan Chase and TIAA. She has held positions from the individual contributor to Director level in Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Governance Risk & Compliance, and the Business Office. Throughout her career, Betsy has been committed to developing and fostering talent, and creating a more diverse cybersecurity industry. At JPMorgan Chase she created and managed a cybersecurity development program in Syracuse, NY which launched many successful cybersecurity careers. And now her work at The Cybersecurity Studio is focused on readying the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Betsy holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Information Systems from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago
