Social Media Day is coming up on the 30th of June. We are launching a two-week Social Media Awareness Program to encourage everyone to take good care of their social media accounts and keep security in mind when sharing online. Our theme for this year is “Learn the Roots of Good Social Media Practices.”

With several employees working remotely, you may rely on social accounts even more to stay connected with friends, family and colleagues. This week, we will feature articles, videos and posters to help you learn what constitutes safe social media habits. We hope you enjoy the program.

For our second week of Social Media Awareness, we have a humorous video showing a realistic scenario to help you learn the potential consequences of accidentally sharing data with scammers. Next, we will share a PDF with best practices so you know what to share and what not to share with others. Enjoy and promote the tips you’ve learned by using the attached desktop photos with “Do’s” and “Don’ts” on social media habits.

Thank you for participating in this year’s Social Media Awareness Kit. We hope that you learned new tricks to help you protect the information you share with others. Use this information to help tend to your garden, so that your social media can blossom healthily and be safe from pests.
