Tim Choi, Vice President, Product Marketing, Proofpoint Inc.

Tim Choi is responsible for product marketing of all products and solutions at Proofpoint. Prior to Proofpoint, he was a member of the product management leadership team at BlackBerry and was part of the turnaround journey of the company to software and security. Tim also led product management and product marketing at WatchDox (acquired by BlackBerry) and product initiatives for VASCO’s cloud authentication services. Tim started his career as the first employee at Voltage Security (acquired by HP), where he held leadership roles in product management, technical sales, services and business development. Tim has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.S. degree in Management Science and Engineering, both from Stanford University.

Lucia Milică, Resident Chief Information Security Officer, Proofpoint Inc.

Lucia Milică currently serves as Resident Chief Information Security Officer at Proofpoint. She is a senior technology leader with over 20 years of technical and business experience. In her previous role, Lucia was the VP, Chief Information Security Officer & Chief Privacy Officer for Polycom, responsible for all aspects of data privacy and information security. Previously she held leadership and technical roles in IT governance & strategy, security risk and compliance, corporate and product security, data privacy, and IT infrastructure at companies including Polycom, HP, Palm, Wells Fargo, Franklin Templeton. Lucia also serves as an advisor on the board of University of Colorado, School of Business’s Center for Information Technology Innovation and holds a Master in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate.

Jennifer Cheng, Director of Product Marketing, People-Centric Security and Compliance Solutions, Proofpoint Inc.

Jennifer Cheng is Director of Product Marketing for People-Centric Security and Compliance Solutions at Proofpoint. She is dedicated to helping people and organizations better manage their risk of advanced attacks or compliance violations in email, social media, and cloud technologies. She has over 15 years of experience consulting and educating IT professionals on new technologies and industry trends. Prior to Proofpoint, Jennifer held strategic and technical roles at Cisco, Salesforce, and WatchDox. She has a B.S. degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Cheryl Tang, Director, Product Marketing, Proofpoint Inc.

Cheryl Tang leads product marketing for Core Email Security solutions at Proofpoint. She brings over 20 years of product marketing experience in the enterprise security and IT market. Prior to Proofpoint, Cheryl has served in product marketing and leadership roles at Imperva, Centrify, Symantec, Good Technology, and WebEx Communications. She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mark Guntrip, Product Marketing Director, Email Security, Proofpoint Inc.

Mark Guntrip leads product marketing for Advanced Security solutions at Proofpoint., He brings over twenty years experience in the enterprise security market where, through a range of roles including engineering, product management and product marketing. He has a proven track record of building success in new markets as well as promoting growth within more established areas. Prior to Proofpoint, Guntrip held various management roles within companies including Symantec and Cisco. Guntrip earned his Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Southampton University, UK.

Catherine Hwang, Director, Product Marketing, Proofpoint Inc.

Catherine Hwang is a Product Marketing Director at Proofpoint, where she drives product marketing strategy for cloud app security, information protection, and compliance. She has been with Proofpoint for over 3 years. Prior to joining Proofpoint, she has held a variety of strategic and technical roles at companies such as McAfee and Mercury (acquired by Hewlett-Packard). Catherine has a degree in Computer Engineering degree from the University of Michigan.

Deborah Watson, Sr. Security Architect, Proofpoint Inc.

Deborah Watson is a cyber security leader focused on Corporate Information Security Strategy, Compliance, Security Architecture, and Data Privacy and Protection. She has more than 20 years of experience in the cyber security and information technology fields.Prior to Proofpoint, Deborah held various management roles within companies including KPMG and HP. Deborah has a Masters degree in Information Technology Management from Harvard University and is working to complete her Doctorate in Psychology from California Southern University.
