Jennifer Cheng

Jennifer is the Cybersecurity Strategist for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Proofpoint, where she drives product marketing strategy across the APJ region. In her role, she provides expertise to customers and partners on Proofpoint’s strategies within people-centric security, risk management, data privacy, security awareness and compliance.
Prior to joining Proofpoint, Jennifer held various strategic and technical roles at Cisco and most recently, WatchDox where she drove all aspects of product go-to-market through to sales enablement and content development. Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
Tim Choi
GVP Product Marketing at Proofpoint
As Vice President of Product Marketing at Proofpoint, Tim leads product marketing and go-to-market strategies for the company’s compliance and security products. Previously, he was VP of Product Management at BlackBerry, contributing to its shift toward software and security. He also led product management and marketing at WatchDox (acquired by BlackBerry) and drove product initiatives for VASCO’s cloud authentication services. Tim began his career as the first employee at Voltage Security (acquired by HP), holding leadership roles across product management, technical sales, services, and business development.

Richard Combes is a cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in the field. Since 2020 he has led leads Sales Engineering for Data Protection across EMEA and APJ at Proofpoint helping customers manage data risks
Previously, he spent 15 years at Symantec in Product Management and Sales Engineering leader roles, specializing in data security.
He holds a CISSP and IAPP EU Privacy Professional and Privacy Program Manager qualifications.

Vannessa Van Beek is an accomplished cybersecurity leader, with deep expertise spanning major incident management, security operations, risk management, and artificial intelligence. As the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Fortescue, she steers cybersecurity strategy drawing on her extensive leadership experience gained through senior roles at Telstra, Kinetic IT, Avanade and DXC Technology. In 2022 she received the WiTWA Senior Leadership Award for leadership, communication and strategic vision. She has also been recognized for her impactful leadership nationally. Last year Vannessa received the prestigious CSO30 Award for Leadership and the Australian Women in Cybersecurity Award She is an active voice in the cybersecurity community, frequently invited as a keynote speaker at industry-leading conferences such as NDC, CyberCon, AustCert, DDD, and CISO Sydney – Singapore and Melbourne.
