Chris Richmond, Sales Engineering Leader - Canada and the Northeast US, Proofpoint Inc.

Chris Richmond is the Sales Engineering Leader for Canada and the Northeast US at Proofpoint, Inc. Chris’ focus is on the evolving cybersecurity landscape and how customers can leverage their cybersecurity stack to improve protection, while at the same time ensuring the protection of critical data and the reduction of privacy risks for organizations. Chris previously led groups focused on Advanced Malware, Forensics Architecture and Planning. Chris also helped bring to market some of the first cloud security solutions. Throughout his career in cybersecurity, his interactions around informational risk and privacy have allowed him an in-depth understanding of the complexities of protecting data while ensuring privacy and maintaining risk.

Colt Blackmore, Director, Product Management, Proofpoint Inc.

Colt leads intelligence and analytics products at Proofpoint, including the TAP Dashboard, the Attack Index, and Nexus Threat Explorer. Prior to Proofpoint Colt ran data science research and development at Cylance; before that, he built WildFire at Palo Alto Networks, where he served simultaneously as Technical Lead and Product Manager.

Danny Howerton, Senior Threat Analyst, Proofpoint Inc.

Danny is a Sr. Threat Analyst at Proofpoint where his team is constantly viewing, analyzing, and researching the threat data that is produced from the Proofpoint Targeted Attack Protection (TAP) service. Danny and his team monitor and track global malware trends, distribution trends and techniques, malicious lures, malware campaigns, and actors while also finding new ways to look at and ingest the TAP data.

Robert James (Jim) Carlin, Sales Engineer, Proofpoint Inc.

Beginning in tech support for manufacturing of packet switching networks Jim has worked in networking and security for over two decades. His security background began in the early days of carrier managed VPNs and encryption standards. Jim has worked with Ethernet, ATM, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing, optical transport, xDSL, SONET and other carrier transport technologies. Hi wireless experience extends from 3G UMTS and GSM implementations, 4G LTE and packet-based microwave backhaul for mobile networks.

Jim joined Proofpoint in December of 2018 as a Sales Engineer.
