Featured Speakers

Daniel Blackford, Threat Research Data Analyst, Proofpoint, Inc.

Daniel Blackford is a threat researcher at Proofpoint. He spends his days hunting through massive amounts of mailflow and cloud data to identify malign threat activity in order to surface and provide context for those threats both directly to clients as well as through tools such as TAP. Daniel also tracks the various actors and TTPs that comprise the threat landscape.

Prior to his work at Proofpoint, Daniel worked as a malware analyst at the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) on site in Pittsburgh, PA.

Daniel has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Thomas Hanna, Account Executive - Enterprise, Proofpoint, Inc.

Thomas Hanna is a Security Awareness Training Specialist at Proofpoint. He currently has responsibility for all Enterprise Accounts across Canada, and Southern California (Los Angeles). Thomas helps prospects/customers identify pain points in their current Security Awareness Program & directs organizations on how to shrink their “Knowledge Gap” in Cybersecurity through the PSAT Platform.

Prior to his work at Proofpoint, Thomas was an Account Executive at Advent Communications (IT Business Partner) in Pittsburgh, PA.
