Curtis Wray, Sr Manager Security Architectures, Proofpoint Inc.

Curtis has almost 20 years of experience in the IT Security Consulting, Services & Sales arena. The first ten years consisted of helping Fortune 500 companies develop security best practices, implement Best-of-Breed security tools, and obtain security and framework certifications needed to keep their organizations agile and yet secure. Over the last nine years, he’s helped map Proofpoint to the growing security needs of today by participating in industry workgroups, connecting security teams together to leverage each other’s strengths against an ever-growing threat actor community, and evangelizing for changes in how to better secure an organization. Curtis helped build Proofpoint’s Public Sector vertical practice and serves as one of two Security Solutions Architects for Proofpoint.

Daniel Stefancin, Account Executive, Proofpoint Inc.

Dan is a graduate of West Virginia University. He has over 10 years of experience as an account manager in the Information Technology field. Dan has been instrumental in helping many state and local government, as well as higher education institutions, mitigate cyber risk by implementing cybersecurity awareness programs that assess end-user behavior and provide effective online training to change behavior and reduce cyber threats.

David Kitt, Principal Engineer, Proofpoint Inc.

David Kitt is a Principal Engineer at Proofpoint. His focus is supporting Proofpoint’s most strategic public sector accounts across central US. Dave comes from an extensive background in the public sector space focusing on Higher Education for much of his 16+ year career in technology. Prior to joining Proofpoint, Dave held roles such as Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Principal Systems Architect, and a Director’s level position with responsibility for Network Architecture, Engineering, and Security. Dave holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and several industry certifications. Much of Dave’s time in his role as a Principal Engineer is spent working with public sector agencies on overall design and best practice architecture of critical security controls. Dave also leads initiatives on Proofpoint’s field engineering team to better mobilize and promote new and emerging technology standards while also evangelizing the benefits of adopting people-centric security practices and protocols. Dave is also one of the product specialists in the area of email authentication including the best practice implementations of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Most recently, Dave has been on the forefront of this movement by providing thought leadership for the next generation of email authentication around the up-and-coming ARC protocol.
