Garrett Guinivan is a Senior Solutions Architect and Threat Analyst at Proofpoint for the US Federal Sector. He has been with Proofpoint nearly 3 years with previous experience as a Threat Intelligence Consultant with Proofpoint Professional Services supporting Federal, consulting, healthcare, food & beverage, and manufacturing customers. Before Proofpoint he was a cyber threat intelligence analyst with several government contractors supporting Army, Navy, and Energy Sector customers.
Paul is a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Proofpoint. He joined Proofpoint as a highly experienced cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of expertise in roles that include Product Manager, Systems Engineer, and Product Marketer, working at many other well-known cybersecurity companies throughout Silicon Valley. Having witnessed the ever-evolving nature of cyber threats, Paul firmly believes that there is no silver bullet in the realm of cybersecurity, and recognizes that a holistic approach of technology and education is essential. In his role he emphasizes the importance of security awareness as a key component to protecting organizations against the latest threats.
