Deborah Watson is a Resident CISO at Proofpoint with more than 20 years of experience as a cybersecurity leader focused on corporate information security strategy, compliance, security architecture, and data privacy and protection. Deborah has worked with both public and private sector organizations across the Fortune 1000 as an employee or consultant. Deborah has a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Harvard University and is a Doctoral Candidate in Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University. Ms. Watson has published papers and presented on a variety of topics including GDPR, IoT, BEC and Phishing, Third-Party Risk Management, and Open Source Security.
Andrew Harris has 15+ years experience in cybersecurity, most of which has been in supporting or leading some of the most sensitive U.S. Government agencies. Andrew is CrowdStrike’s Sr. Director for Public Sector Technology Strategy where he is responsible for driving innovation and ensuring technical alignment across product groups and with Public Sector customers. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Andrew worked at Microsoft as a Principal Program Manager, where he focused on engineering solutions across 50+ engineering teams for $1B major government contracts. He served as the CTO for the Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) team for Azure Security where he also drove product strategy. Andrew led the Recovery team at Microsoft for Incident Response and helped NIST write the playbook on SP 800-184, “Guide for Cybersecurity Event Recovery”. In addition, Andrew served as a Special Advisor to the White House, US House of Representatives, multiple Services within the Department of Defense, Pentagon, New York City Policy Department (NYPD) and various Fortune 100 companies.
Chris is the Regional CSO, Americas at Okta, where he is responsible for corporate security compliance, third-party risk, and responding to customer security inquiries. Prior to Okta, Chris spent 6 years leading the adoption of Cloud Technologies at LinkedIn, helping them grow from 350 to over 6,800 employees. He started his career designing, developing, and delivering content management, system administration, and messaging solutions for customers such as Nestle, Cisco, AMD, Telus, and the US Department of Defense. He is also an active member of the Northern California ski community, where he volunteers with the Tahoe Backcountry Ski Patrol performing search & rescue, and teaching ski mountaineering & outdoor survival.
