Join us for a virtual Proofpoint Power Hour with the FBI!

This interactive virtual meeting will bring together K-12 and Higher-Ed-focused cybersecurity leaders for lively and informative discussions with the FBI and Proofpoint.

Special guest speaker, Rebecca Camara, FBI Special Agent in the Houston Field Office, will provide attendees with an overview of the FBI Cyber Program and discuss the Bureau’s view on the current threat landscape and predictions for 2021. Agent Camara will cover changes in tactics, including business email compromise (BEC) and email account compromise (EAC), as well as a demonstration on spoofing techniques they’ve recently seen.

Rebecca Camara
Rebecca Camara | Special Agent, FBI

Special Agent Rebecca Camara received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Information Technology and Web Science. Upon graduating from the FBI Academy, SA Camara has worked on the Houston Cyber Task Force for the last five years investigating various cybercrimes such as ransomware, data theft, SIM jacking, credential harvesting, payroll diversion, and business email compromise. SA Camara has a GCIA and GSEC certification for cyber security as well as a certified Digital Extraction Technician (digital forensics imaging and analysis) for the FBI. SA Camara is a certified EMT and a member of the Hazardous Evidence Response Team at the FBI.
